This is a lovely vintage late 20th Century dining set made by the American Furniture Co., Inc., Martinsville, VA. Made in the U.S.A.We are asking $400 or best offer.

Set includes:
One dining table.
Two removable leaves to extend the table and make it longer. Pictures are taken with one of them installed.
Two arm chairs.
Four chairs.
The chair seats have been recovered in a nice ultra suede type of material in a pretty sage green.
Pictures taken with different lighting from sunlight to flash photography so you can see how the set would look during the day and evenings.
The items seen in the cabinet are not included in the sale.
All it needs is some furniture polish that 'removes' minor scuffs from minimal use. If you are not familiar with such products, they are available at hardware stores and work well.
DIMENSIONS
We used a measuring tape, but we still state that measurements are approximate.
Dining Table:
Length: 65-1/2 inches, without the leaves.
You can add another 18 inches with one leaf, or 36 inches with both.
Longest table can be is approximately 102 inches.
Width: 44 inches.
Height: 29-1/2 inches.
The table's legs are bolted to the table. We have taken the legs off the table, very easy to do with a small wrench, so that it is easier to move. Each leg was numbered by the manufacturer to which "socket" in the table it will go to. All original bolts and nuts are on the legs themselves. All ready to go for you to buy and move into your home
Chairs - all six chairs:
Seat only, height: 18 inches
Seat only, across: 20 inches
Seat only, depth: 17-1/2 inches
Back of chair is 41-3/4 inches high.
At least one of the chairs still has its label and it reads: Made by American Furniture Co., Inc., Martinsville, VA.
China Cabinet:
Center drawer interior side panel is branded/labeled with a small eagle and to the right of it, it reads: American of Martinsville.
The cabinet looks like it consists of two parts. We will call them top and bottom. We do not see a place where you can separate them for moving. We believe you will have to move it in one solid piece.
Full height of cabinet is 75 inches.
Bottom across is 54 inches.
Top across is 48-1/2 inches.
Bottom exterior depth (sides) is 17 inches.
Top exterior depth (sides) is 13 inches.
Top cabinet has three doors you can open to place items on the bottom or on the two glass shelves. Glass shelves have a line groove across the back for you to place and show off your dinner or collector plates.
Center door's exterior, across is 22-1/2 inches. The two side doors are 12 inches across.
Glass shelves are 10 inches depth by 46 inches long.
Bottom "shelf" clearance depth for placing items on it is 11-3/4 inches by 46 inches long.
Clearance from bottom "shelf" to top of first glass shelf is 14 inches.
Clearance from first glass shelf up to second glass shelf is 13-1/4 inches high.
Clearance from the second glass shelf to the interior ceiling of the top of the cabinet is 17-1/2 inches high.
There is a light inside, center top, but we do not know if it works as the bulb has gone out. The plug is a pre-UL plug and on the metal prongs there is an engraving that reads Academy Automatic.
The light socket inside the cabinet reads Leviton or Levitron, Made in U.S.A. We have the old bulb still too.
Bottom cabinet has two center drawers.
The interior area for placing items into the drawers is 21 inches wide/long by 13 inches depth by 7 inches high.
Then there is one cabinet on each side. The interior area to place items inside these cabinet areas are 12 inches across by 14-1/2 depth by 18 inches high.
We are also selling a bedroom set, king size mattress and other items too. See the site for those pictures and info too.
PICK UP/MOVING INFO:
Buyer will have to bring own movers, moving blankets and moving van.
We may have the furniture moved to our garage so it will be easier for buyer to pick the set up. If not, it is near the front door of a ranch-style house. No flights of stairs.
You will need at least two people to move this furniture.
The furniture is located in a home in San Leandro in the Manor area. We are off of Lewelling Blvd. between Washington Avenue and the bay shoreline. Exit off of 880 and 238 is the Washington Avenue Exit or Lewelling Blvd. Exit (880 going North from Hayward.)
